English Teacher

Well, this one kind of crept up on me with the years. I guess you could say it was a product of all those years of reading the Bible at breakfast and all the tomfoolery in drama class (see above for the story of where that left me). I've reviewed a few books that might be useful if you're learning English, and a couple more if you're teaching. Not to mention a useful website or two thrown in for good measure. Man cannot live on bread alone, however. Trading time for money isn't all it's cracked up to be either. That said, I've started my own English Intensive Course business on the side, somewhere to cut my teeth. For the meat and bones, however, I've decided to become an:

Internet Marketer

I've been onto this one for awhile, actually. Probably a bit too long for my liking. What I can say is that I love the process and the person I am becoming just be working on my own business and learning the ropes. When I say I've been on this for awhile, the truth is that I have only been reading the forums, buying everyone else's materials and watching product launches. I've come to realise that I already know all I need to know to start a business, which is why one day I just decided to go for it with the whole 'EMA' thing. Anyhow, what you'll see here is some recommended reading that I have found really helped me get to where I am. If you want to join me in what I call my Mastermind Group, let me know.

Writer

While it's not an official section of my website, I have noticed that most of the people who are successful in life, (at least the ones that I look up to) are writers. So I guess this site is one way for me to practice that. I won't update directly to the site as much as I will to a blog, but just getting the thoughts out of my head and onto a page is really therapeutic in it's own way. I may add some more resources as they come up. I'm thinking of taking a writing course, so I'll let you know how that goes and post any results here.

Actor

Although it's been some time since I actually did any work, I like to consider myself an Actor- even if no-one else will. For your interest I've uploaded all my acting work and I'm in the process of having my showreel cut. I would love nothing more than to practice the acting craft all day, but you gotta pay the bills somehow. Which is a segue into the next section.

Voice Artist

One of English students asked my if I could donate my voice to some audiobook. As it was my first experience I thought: "Why not?" I had so much fun I decided to set up a page at Voices.com and also did some work for a friend who works for an internet company. After my bike repair guy told me about his voice-ver work and how i should definately do it too, I decided t get cracking and put together a showreel. Here it is.
